Made for Sears, Roebuck & Company by High Standard, this gun was also marketed by High Standard under their own name as the “Sport King” Model A-102. The sear/disconnector system has elements of the old Savage Model 6 and Stevens Model 87, with the bolt staying open between shots until the trigger is released. The gun was discontinued around 1976, but apparently a lot of them were sold, by both Sears and High Standard, because they are frequently seen.
