CATASTROPHE CAT
Unfortunately for Sybil, the officers’ cat, she has chosen to spend the night asleep on the top of the caterpillar track of one of the large tanks parked outside the camp. It is unfortunate because at the crack of dawn there is a military exercise, and the tank starts up and drives off at its regulation 10 mph. The cat, clever enough to realise she might be on the verge of getting squashed but too sleepy to realise her best policy would be to jump off, instead starts running backwards along the caterpillar track. How fast will Sybil have to run to avoid a grim end?
