LORD HENRY’S HUNT

The hunters were gathering outside the Red Lion. It was a hot sticky day and several of the hounds were slouched on the ground having a doze before the off. Lord Henry was getting changed while planning the after-hunt celebrations with his butler, Basil. ‘Oh, by the way, pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs,’ Henry was saying. Then suddenly, out of the blue, a creature shot out of the bushes and bolted off down the road. ‘Excuse me,’ said Basil, ‘but did you see that? A quick brown fox jumped over that lazy dog!’ ‘Action stations,’ yelled Henry. ‘Quick Baz, get my woven flax jodhpurs!’ Basil fetched the special trousers, Henry squeezed himself in, and with a call of ‘Tally ho!’ he led the hunt off into the neighbouring field.

Meanwhile, did you notice more than one interesting feature in what they said?
