ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!

(Before I explain my screaming, THANK YOU for reading this book!)

So, the book you have right now is the ORIGINAL book 01 of the Savage Series. It was released as a two-book, book 01 originally (it was supposed to be 3 book, book 1 but book 03 was taking too long so we released only the first two in the first book.)

Confused yet?

You see, normally we release books 01, 02 and then 03 before we wait a bit and then release the omnibus (many of the books together.)

For Savages, we published books 01 and 02 together as book 01, then book 03 as book 02.

It was, shall we say, a bit of a mess.

So, it came time to split them up into their original books, but now we had yet another problem…

Book 03 was too short.

<SIGH!>

So, add another 40,000 words (almost another whole ‘novel’ by SFWA standards) into (new) book 03) and Bob’s your uncle, right?

Well, we hope so!

Additional covers, new author notes, new words in the story and new releases to get these books back out there. Never say that publishing is a clean profession – it sometimes gets really, really messy as we try to navigate this new publishing paradigm.

Also, there are many readers (perhaps you) who do not WANT large (180,000+) word books and will appreciate them back at their shorter size.

I am assuming this is your first time to read this book, if so WOOT and WAHOO and YIPPEE! (Ok, that last one was a mistake.)

I appreciate you taking the time to read our stories and hope you delve deeper into the ZOO Universe.
