Apple Sauce
Apple sauce to accompany pork.
MAKES 1 JAR
Ingredients
3 cooking apples
3 cloves
5 tablespoons granulated sugar

Method
- Peel and core the apples and slice thinly.
- Place a medium saucepan on a medium/high heat and add a small splash of water. Add the apple slices, cloves and sugar. Stew the apples for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When cooled, remove the cloves and transfer into a sterilised jar and keep in the fridge.
