Filling Cupcakes
You can really have fun with flavour when you add a tasty filling to your baked cupcakes. Here are two ways to do this.
USING A BISMARCK NOZZLE
Prepare a piping (icing) bag with a Bismarck nozzle (or a piping tube nozzle) and your desired filling. Insert the pointed tip into an un-iced cupcake and gently squeeze out a small amount of your chosen filling to fill the cupcake. Ice as desired.
USING AN APPLE CORER
Remove the centre of an un-iced cupcake with an apple corer and cut the top off the removed centre. Squeeze out a small amount of your chosen filling into the cupcake and cover with the top of the centre piece. Ice as desired.
