Silicone 3D Mould: 1 Colour
1/// Lightly dust a decorative silicone mould with icing (confectioners’) sugar. Knead small amounts of coloured sugarpaste (fondant), roll each into a ball and place into the mould cavities.
2/// Push the sugarpaste down to ensure the deeper sections of the mould are filled and scrape off the excess with a palette knife.
3/// Hold the mould with both hands and press the centre of each shape with your thumb to release the sugarpaste.
TIP
If the mould is deep or highly detailed and it’s difficult to remove the sugarpaste, place the filled mould in the freezer for about 15 minutes until the sugarpaste is firmer.
