Lining a Square or Rectangular Tin

1/// Place the tin on top of a sheet of non-stick baking paper, and fold the paper up on the left, right, front and back sides of the tin.

2/// Crease the baking paper and cut to size. In this way, the baking paper should be big enough to cover the base and sides all-in-one.

3/// Fold the two side pieces in, then cut partway up the fold (the cut section should make a square or rectangle). Repeat this process on both ends of both sides.

4/// Place the paper into the tin and fold in the corners. Once it fits well, remove the paper, grease the inside of the tin, then place the paper back. This method ensures that there are no gaps in the lining.

Lining a Cookie Tray

Cut a sheet of baking paper to fit the tray. To stop it moving, you can pipe a small amount of batter in each corner to fix the paper in place.
