SHEILA’S SESAME OAT CRACKERS

Crispy homemade oat crackers with the taste of sesame, great with cheese or tofu dips, or with soups.

MAKES 24 CRACKERS

2 cup flour

½ t. baking soda

½ cup sesame seeds

½ cup oats

½ cup oat bran

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400° F. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.

½ cup tahini (sesame butter)

1 egg

3 T. toasted sesame oil

1 T. tamari

2 to 4 T. milk

Mix wet ingredients except for milk in a small bowl. Add to dry and mix. Add just enough milk so that dough comes together. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet and flatten with the floured bottom of a glass. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
