1/4 lb. Pepper Jack cheese, sliced into 1/2-inch strips

2 c. cooked turkey, sliced into 1/2-inch strips

1/2 c. all-purpose flour

1/2 t. baking powder

Fold chiles closed and place seam-side down in dish. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk together milk and eggs; slowly add to flour mixture, beating until smooth. Pour over chiles. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and turn off heat. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top and return to oven until cheese is melted. Serves 6.

Unsure about the capacity of a baking pan...2 quarts or one? Just measure out one quart of water and pour into the pan to check.
