Tamale Pie

Kids will love this...adults too!

1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 T. oil

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef

8-oz. pkg. corn chips, crushed

15-1/4 oz. can corn, drained

14-3/4 oz. can creamed corn

4-oz. can black olives, drained and chopped

2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce, divided

2 T. chili powder

1/8 t. cayenne pepper

Sauté onion and garlic in oil in a skillet just until soft; add ground beef and heat until beef loses its pink color. Add corn chips, corn, creamed corn, olives, one can tomato sauce and seasonings to meat mixture; mix well and pour into an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan. Top with remaining tomato sauce. Cover and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
