Sausage & Rice Casserole

A homestyle casserole that’s sure to satisfy.

1 lb. ground sausage

1 c. celery, diced

1/2 c. onion, chopped

1 c. long-grain rice, uncooked

14-oz. can chicken broth

Brown together sausage, celery and onion until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Combine with rice and broth in a greased 13"x9" baking pan; cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Serves 4 to 6.

Save room for dessert! Keep scoops of ice cream on hand... quick & easy. Cover a baking sheet in plastic wrap and then begin scooping. Place the baking sheet back in the freezer and when it’s dessert time, just add to cones or bowls.
