Kielbasa Mac & Cheese

So easy to make...whip it up for any weeknight dinner.

7-oz. pkg. macaroni and cheese, cooked

1 lb. Kielbasa sausage, sliced

10-3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup

1/3 c. milk

2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Optional: dried parsley or cayenne pepper to taste

Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions. In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, prepared macaroni and cheese, soup, milk and half the Cheddar cheese. Mix well; pour into a greased 1-1/2 quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese, sprinkle with parsley or cayenne pepper, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes, or until heated through. Serves 4 to 6.

When whisking together ingredients in a bowl, a damp kitchen towel can keep the bowl in place. Just twist the towel securely around the base of the bowl.
