Adding sausage to a traditional favorite makes this recipe one of our family’s favorite dinners.
2 10-3/4 oz. cans cream of mushroom soup
1 c. milk
1 T. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
pepper to taste
1 lb. ground sausage, browned and drained
2 16-oz. pkgs. frozen cut green beans
2.8-oz. can French fried onions, divided
Combine soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic and pepper in a large bowl; mix well. Stir in sausage; add green beans and stir until evenly coated. Pour half the mixture into a greased 13"x9" baking pan; top with half the onions. Spread remaining sausage mixture over onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; sprinkle with remaining onions and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 8.
