Creamy soups are so versatile...this recipe uses celery, but try mushroom, chicken or potato too.
10-3/4 oz. can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. milk
pepper to taste
2 potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 c. cooked ham, diced
2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
Combine soup, milk and pepper in an ungreased 8"x8" baking pan. Layer potatoes, onion and ham over top. Bake, covered, at 375 degrees for one hour. Sprinkle with cheese and bake, uncovered for an additional 20 minutes. Serves 6.
Make everyday dishes anything but ordinary. Porcelain paint, available at crafts stores, comes in tubes with pen-like tips. Even the kids can create a one-of-akind dish just for them! Allow the paint to dry, and then set the paint by baking the dishes in the oven according to the directions on the tube’s label.
