From oven to table in only 15 minutes!
4 lbs. asparagus, trimmed
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
In a large skillet, add asparagus and one inch of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, until crisp-tender. Drain and arrange asparagus in a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Drizzle with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serves 8 to 10.
A speedy way to crush tomatoes for any recipe...just cut tomatoes in half and rub the cut side against a grater.
