I’m not sure about Danny’s trusting J.D. Perhaps it’s just my protectiveness showing. I’ve often found myself in the position of having to take care of others. Having Kale around sort of ingrained it into me. Not that he can’t care for himself. I just always felt responsible for him. He’s my twin. I feel what he feels. We can talk in our heads without words. Sometimes we can project that onto other people, but it’s usually too weird for them. It’s not mind reading, just talking without words. Like our brain waves are on another plane and pick up on each other. Some call it psychic ability. We just thought it was normal.
I wonder if it would work with Danny since she’s been able to push her feelings onto us. Not that she’s doing it on purpose. She just feels things so strongly that they fall off her and hit us. She loves J.D, we can all see that. I just hope it’s not misplaced. I would have tried talking her out of coming here if I loved her like he claims to. I listen to her because I have chosen to have her as my Alpha. You listen to your Alpha, give advice if they ask and help where you can. It’s simple. Kale is a bit more outspoken because of baby Daniel. He wants to be sure that he and Violet are kept safe. I’m all for it. They should be, that baby is the future of this pack. It’s loved by Danny which is enough for me.
She wants us to take the tunnels as they let out near the shoreline so that we can see if we can find where they are. I’m guessin’ they expect J.D. to be able to spot them since they wanted him to deliver Danny. They also seem to assume that we have a general idea of where they are. They assume an awful lot. Danny wants Kale and I specifically to go because we register as a single wolf. Our pheromones are identical too. Mighty useful for tracking, and sneaking up on people in general. I’m all for it, but I’m all for most things. We’re gonna have Wade with us as he knows the mapping. Montgomery is gonna be busy making bullets and Charlie and Giovanni are going to be keeping watch on the tunnel and the building in general. Hope her plan works and we don’t just get dead. If anything goes wrong, Kale is my priority then Danny. After that it’s everyone for themselves.
