THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE does not clearly communicate to us what the word salvation (or the Greek word sozo) really means. It’s not just the new birth of your spirit. It’s also peace for your mind and healing for your body. There is no price greater than Jesus’ sacrifice at Calvary. What a price! Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil—all of his works (1 John 3:8). He did not destroy sin only to leave sickness in dominion. Partial redemption from Satan’s power would not have pleased God, nor would it have fulfilled His plan for His family. He redeemed the whole man— righteousness for his nature, peace for his mind, and healing for his body. Redemption left nothing in play that came on man as a result of sin. Jesus completely destroyed the works of the devil in our lives. What a great price He paid (1 Cor. 6:20; Matt. 16:18–21).

Let Us Pray!
Heavenly Father, I thank You that I am born again by the incorruptible seed of the Word of God and free from the law of sin and death. I choose to live by Your Word, and I trust You to help me grow and mature.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
