Pomegranate Peach Smoothie

Pomegranate is a good source of vitamin C, beta-carotene, and antioxidants. It is known for its cleansing and detox properties and for reducing the risk for cancer.

1 CUP POMEGRANATE JUICE

1 CUP CHOPPED KALE LEAVES

2 FRESH PEACHES, PITTED AND SLICED

5 OR 6 ICE CUBES

1. Combine the pomegranate juice and kale in a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until well combined.

3. Add more ice cubes, if needed, to thicken.

4. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
