MAKES ABOUT 1½ CUPS
French dressing was originally a type of vinaigrette, but it has recently come to be known for its sweetness and bright red color. This French dressing is easy to make at home and a great way to add strong flavor to your salads.
½ CUP EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
½ CUP KETCHUP
¼ CUP WHITE WINE VINEGAR
¼ CUP CANE SUGAR
2 TABLESPOONS DRIED ONION
1 TEASPOON GARLIC POWDER
PINCH OF SALT
PINCH OF FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and combined.
2. Chill until ready to use.
