Sweet Asian Coleslaw

SERVES 5 TO 6

Cabbage is an excellent natural source of vitamin E, and it also contains sulfur, which helps detox the liver. Combined with the health benefits of carrots, onion, and cilantro, this recipe is lightly sweet and highly refreshing.

4 CUPS CHINESE CABBAGE, SLICED THIN

1 CUP SHREDDED CARROTS

¼ CUP DICED RED ONION

¼ CUP CHOPPED CILANTRO LEAVES

1 TABLESPOON RICE WINE VINEGAR

1 TABLESPOON CANOLA OIL

1 TABLESPOON SESAME OIL

1 TEASPOON SUGAR

PINCH OF SALT

1. In a large bowl, add the cabbage, carrot, red onion and cilantro. Mix by hand until well combined.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients.

3. Pour over the vegetables and toss to coat.

4. Cover and chill for 1 hour before serving.
