Garlic Red Pepper Pasta

Red peppers are a good source of vitamin C, which helps support healing as well as gum and teeth health. As simple as it may be, this recipe is full of flavor.

1½ TABLESPOONS EXTRA-VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

1 TABLESPOON MINCED GARLIC

2 SWEET RED PEPPERS, SEEDED AND SLICED THIN

½ YELLOW ONION, CHOPPED

1 (16-OUNCE) BOX ROTINI PASTA, COOKED

SALT TO TASTE

FRESHLY GROUND BLACK PEPPER TO TASTE

1. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.

2. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

3. Stir in the red peppers and onion and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, until tender.

4. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine.

5. Season the pasta with salt and pepper to taste and cook until heated through.

6. Serve hot.
