Whoever was decent enough to move the livestock from this bottom paddock needs a thank you. If they’re not here they won’t get curious or noisy. And this lean-to is in the perfect position to watch from.

The rain won’t last.

I’ve done two trips to the car and have everything.

Accelerant… can’t believe I’m getting to use this kind again. Next to no trace for anyone to find.

The cottage has movement still. It isn’t late.

The other house up on the hill is in darkness though. She’s old. Probably has nanna naps as well as goes to bed early.

I settle on an upturned feed bucket. There’s time now to eat and prepare my mind.
