Getting to Know Turtles

Turtles are fascinating creatures. Their anatomy and physiology is unique, but their basic “design” has been the same for more than 200 million years. (It’s obviously successful!) Turtles are totally harmless, which is probably one of the main reasons they are loved all around the world. They are a vital part of the habitat in which they live wherever they live and are an essential;part of healthy wetlands, lakes, rivers, oceans and land.
