While writing itself is pretty much a solitary endeavor, authors require input from a variety of sources to perfect their craft. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to many people as I proudly present my newest work for your reading pleasure.
Authors get inspiration for stories from many sources. For Groom, it came from my dear friend and fellow author, Caleb Pirtle, III. Thank you, CP3 for asking me “Why is it always a mail order bride? Why not a mail order groom?” His simple question set off a fire storm of “what if’s” and Ty and Emma’s story was born. I do hope you like the end result.
As always, a huge thank you to my critique partner, who never fails to get me back on track when I get derailed; to my editor for finding the holes I needed to plug; my beta readers for their unfailing loyalty; and to members of my writing groups and a host of friends whose support and encouragement never wavered.
And last, but by no means least, to my family who continually make me believe I can do anything.
