Each new fairy tale I write shows me something new about life and the people we love. Last year for the spring, I wrote about grief. For a year filled with grief, it was unintentionally appropriate. This year, it was all about taking back control of your life and finding who you are. Again, I think that is appropriate for the times. I’ve gotten so much out of writing these stories, just as I hope my readers have. I’m glad you came along with me on this journey, reader, and thank you for taking it with me.
I’d also like to thank my friends and family for their support in each of these new endeavors, especially my husband. I never had a better cheerleader, muse, or advisor than him. I love you, and thank you for always believing in me. Thanks to my parents, siblings, extended family, and in-laws, for your support and enthusiasm and love. And my friends, for always being on my side. I’m always on yours, too.
Special thanks to the many professionals who have helped this story reach this stage. Thanks to Arielle Bailey for her developmental feedback and to Deborah O’Carroll for her wonderful polishing touches on the story. Thanks also to Savannah Jezowski of DragonPen Designs for a cover that literally made my jaw drop. I can’t get over that title font! I love every cover you make for me more than the last, and I can’t wait to see where we go next.
And finally and most of all, many thanks to my Creator for allowing me to create the stories that bring us together.
