Rose Petal Beads
pretty and unique - enough for one necklace

MATERIALS
½ cup (125 ml) flour
1 T. (15 ml) salt
2 T. (30 ml) water
3 cups (750 ml) rose petals
round toothpicks
bowl
PROCESS
- mix flour, salt, and water to stiff a dough in bowl
- cut rose petals into tiny pieces and crush in palms
- mix crushed petals into dough without making it crumbly
- shape dough into beads
- push toothpicks through center to make holes
- dry for a few days
- string beads on cord after thoroughly dry
HINTS
- makes enough beads for 1 necklace
- remove toothpicks before dough gets too hard

- scratch rose designs into wet beads
- make different shaped beads
