WRITING PROMPTS

1. Would you like to learn to skateboard? Write a paragraph about why or why not. If you already skate, write about a trick you are learning or a challenge you have had.
2. Krish filmed a message while the group was at urgent care for Avani’s sprained ankle. Write out the scene at the clinic and focus on Krish’s point of view. Why does he decide to film the message?
3. At the end of the story, people in Oakdale are enjoying the new skate park. Pretend that you are a reporter and are interviewing Avani. Write at least three interview questions and Avani’s responses.
