board slide
a trick where the skater turns the board sideways and slides the bottom along an object
grind
a trick where the skater scrapes the board’s trucks along an object; trucks are the metal T-shaped parts that attach the wheels to the deck
kickflip
a trick where the skater ollies and kicks the board so that it flips 360 degrees at least once in the air
manual
a trick where the skater balances on the front or back wheels of the board; a nose manual is done on the front wheels
ollie
a jump made by tapping the back of the board on the ground, causing it to pop up and stay near the skater’s feet
pop shove-it
a trick where the skater makes the board go into the air and spin 180 degrees, so that after landing, what was the back of the board becomes the front
