ABOUT THE COAUTHOR

HALEY RUSHING is the chief purposeologist and cofounder of The Purpose Institute in Austin, Texas. As chief purposeologist, Rushing leads a team of people who act as organizational therapists, anthropologists, and investigators dogged in their pursuit of uncovering the purpose at the heart of an organization. Every purpose project involves a thorough exploration of the passions, underlying motivations, and strengths of the organization as well as a thorough examination of the impact of the organization on the lives of the people with whom it comes into contact.

Over the past few years, the requests for Haley to help organizations discover their purpose have grown and the clients who have embraced doing business on purpose have prospered. As a result, she and Roy recently launched The Purpose Institute—an organization dedicated to helping clients discover and articulate their purpose and values in the world.

She lives in Austin with her husband and ally of twenty-two years, RW, their twin girls, India Vida and Ziggy, and their Yorkie, Gus.
