Hot BBQ Chicken Drumsticks
Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 20 minutes | Serves 4
2 cups barbecue sauce
Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon hot sauce
Sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 pound (454 g) chicken drumsticks
  1. In a large bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, lime juice, honey, and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside ½ cup of the sauce. Add the drumsticks to the bowl, and toss until evenly coated.
  2. Insert the Grill Grate and close the hood. Select GRILL, set the temperature to MEDIUM, and set the time to 20 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating.
  3. When the unit beeps to signify it has preheated, place the drumsticks on the Grill Grate. Close the hood and GRILL for 18 minutes, basting often during cooking.
  4. Cooking is complete when the internal temperature of the meat reaches at least 165ºF (74ºC) on a food thermometer. If necessary, close the hood and continue grilling for 2 minutes more.
