Breaded Spiced Chicken Cutlets

½ pound (227 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, horizontally sliced in half, into cutlets
½ tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
⅛ cup bread crumbs
¼ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon onion powder
  1. Insert the Crisper Basket and close the hood. Select AIR CRISP, set the temperature to 375ºF (191ºC), and set the time to 11 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating.
  2. Brush each side of the chicken cutlets with the oil.
  3. Combine the bread crumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a medium shallow bowl. Dredge the chicken cutlets in the bread crumb mixture, turning several times, to ensure the chicken is fully coated.
  4. When the unit beeps to signify it has preheated, place the chicken in the basket. Close the hood and AIR CRISP for 9 minutes. Cooking is complete when the internal temperature of the meat reaches at least 165ºF (74ºC) on a food thermometer. If needed, AIR CRISP for up to 2 minutes more.
  5. Remove the chicken cutlets and serve immediately.
