DAVID R. GEORGE III previously visited Star Trek’s Lost Era in the novel Serpents Among the Ruins, featuring Captain John Harriman and Commander Demora Sulu, and in the novella Iron and Sacrifice, which appeared in the Tales From the Captain’s Tale anthology, and which featured Sulu after she had been promoted to Enterprise captain. One Constant Star marks David’s fourteenth foray into Trek novels, a writing journey that ultimately began when he co-wrote the television story for a first-season Voyager episode, “Prime Factors.”
