BBQ Chicken Legs

What is better than a three-ingredient recipe that cooks in 15 minutes? This amazing recipe will make you realize that the answer is, “Not much!” These super simple, delicious chicken legs are incredibly tender and juicy and are sure to become favorites for your family and friends. Change up this recipe by alternating the hundreds of the barbecue sauce options available.

• Hands-On Time: 10 minutes

• Cook Time: 15 minutes

1 Insert trivet into Instant Pot®. Add chicken broth. Arrange chicken standing up, meaty-side down, on the trivet. Lock lid.

2 Press the Poultry button and cook for the default time of 15 minutes. When timer beeps, let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes. Quick-release any additional pressure until float valve drops and then unlock lid. Check the chicken using a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature is at least 165°F.

3 Remove chicken from pot. In a large bowl, gently toss chicken legs in the barbecue sauce and serve.

If you like your chicken a little crispy, place cooked chicken on a parchment-paper-lined baking sheet and broil for approximately 2 minutes per side.
