You don’t have to have anything fancy when you first start out. The more accustomed you get to runes and reading them, feel free to get a special set. For example, if there is a particular crystal you are drawn to, you can purchase a rune set in that particular crystal. You can even make your own runes if you would like.
No matter what you choose, the material you choose for your runes is very personal. Every rune set will come with a booklet that explains the runes, its symbols representation, and how to interpret it.
Just like with any type of oracle or divination readings, it takes a bit of time to master the actual reading process. You can find lots of guides and books to help you understand their meanings, like the last chapter, and how they affect your life and the question you are asking. It also helps if you are already well in tune with your intuition because it can help you to interpret the meaning. Don’t worry, though, if at first, you feel unsure. Persevere, and write down all of your readings.
