When you are laying out your runes for this spread, placed one down and then two right above it. Then three will be placed to the right of these two and then four placed above three. You will do this for five and six, and then place seven, eight, and nine at the end with seven on the bottom and nine on the top.

For the column of three and four, it shows your present forces concerning your question. Three are the hidden influences that are taking place now. Four is your attitude about your present events.
For the column of five and six, it shows you the outcome of your question. Five tells you the hidden influences, obstacles, or delays that could prevent you from getting what you want. Six shows you how you will respond to the result.
The last column shows the power that you have to face the other three columns. Seven tells you that powers you need to overcome the first column. Eight tells you what power you will need to overcome the second column. Nine tells you what power you will need to deal with the third column.
