The bloody aftermath of the Lod Airport Massacre when three pro-Palestinian members of the Japanese Red Army shot and killed twenty-six travelers, most of them Christian pilgrims from Puerto Rico, in 1972. Two of the attackers were also killed; the third, Kozo Okamoto, was wounded and captured.
