TOASTED SESAME SEED GIN

Adding the essence of sesame seeds to a spirit can make for some interesting cocktails. Try a Toasted Sesame Seed Martini alongside sushi.

25 oz. London dry gin

11/2 cups sesame seeds

1. Toast sesame seeds in a pan over low heat until they begin to darken.

2. Place sesame seeds in bottom of infusion jar.

3. Add gin and seal the jar.

4. Let infuse for 2–4 weeks out of direct sunlight, tasting and gently stirring regularly.

5. Strain the gin into a clean bottle and cap.

TIP

Use a classic London dry gin such as Beefeater as the base.
