STANDING FOR THE TRUTH
GOD REPEATEDLY CALLS us to stand for the truth, even when the truth is unpopular. To maintain such conviction, we must be immersed in God’s Word. No matter how our culture’s views shift, God’s people must seek to glorify him and to remain anchored in his truth.
In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I [Jesus] have overcome the world.
JOHN 16:33
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
ISAIAH 41:10
Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.”
