Epilogue

I WROTE THIS BOOKLET because I wish someone had written it for me. I wrote it because since I left the Jehovah’s Witnesses I have failed many times and when I succeeded I made life so much harder than it needed to be.

I wrote this because It is incredibly easy to fail when you are set up to be an unloving cult that only wants your obedience, time and money. I wrote this to help me to keep moving forward in life and never give up.

I dedicate it to everyone who has ever called, texted or emailed me in the middle of the night because they thought they couldn’t go on. I dedicate it to everyone who sent me a letter wanting the pain of shunning to end permanently. I Want to thank my wife and kids who put up with a husband and father who is by no means normal but they manage to love anyway.

I am such a small person to hang your hopes on but if you like I am here and I am one of millions who left the Jehovah’s Witnesses and remained unbroken. Come join us as soon as you can, we’re waiting!
