About the Author

Johnny Molloy is an outdoors writer based in Tennessee who spends his winters in Florida. He has averaged over one hundred nights in the wild per year since the early 1980s, backpacking and canoe camping throughout the country, in nearly every state. His efforts have resulted in more than thirty books, covering Florida and a dozen other states, including hiking, camping, and paddling guides, as well as true outdoors adventure story books.
