Solitaire Parke was born in Bakersfield, California in 1952 and has been a writer most of his life. It was the author, Edgar Rice Burroughs, whose writing style really spoke to him and evoked a passion for the written word, inspiring him to become a writer. His books range from Horror/Thriller to Science Fiction, as well as Metaphysical and Poetry. He is an avid consumer of all genres of books, but especially Science Fiction. Throughout his life he has acquired a degree in Music Theory, a master’s in photography, and has spent a decade and a half in Graphic Art and Web Design. He is also the proud owner of Tairobi, his Manx cat, who has been a huge help in the writing process!
