Ginger Pork

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. of thin-strip-cut pork tenderloin

1 tbsp. of oil, canola

1 minced clove of garlic

2 tbsp. of soy sauce, reduced sodium

1/4 tsp. of sugar, granulated
-
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. of ginger, ground

1/2 cup of water, cold
-
1 & 1/2 tsp. of corn starch
Optional:
cooked rice, hot
Optional:
sesame seeds, toasted and green onions, thin-sliced
Instructions:
1. In large wok, stir-fry the pork in canola oil till not pink anymore. Add the garlic and cook for one more minute.
2. In small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, ginger and sugar and add this to the wok. Combine the water with corn starch till smooth. Add this to the wok. Bring to boil. Stir while cooking till it thickens, about two minutes. Top with sesame seeds and green onions and serve alongside rice, if you desired.
