About the Authors

Jochen Böhler is a research fellow at the Imre Kertész Kolleg at Jena University, Germany. His most recent publications are (ed. with Jacek Andrzej Młynarczyk) Der Judenmord in den eingegliederten polnischen Gebieten 1939–1945 (Osnabrück: Fibre, 2010); (ed. with Stephan Lehnstaedt) Gewalt und Alltag im besetzten Polen, 1939–1945 (Osnabrück: Fibre, 2012).

 

Klaus-Michael Mallmann is director emeritus of the Forschungsstelle Ludwigsburg at the Universität Stuttgart, Germany. From his many publications: (ed. with Andrej Angrick, Jürgen Matthäus, and Martin Cüppers) Deutsche Besatzungsherrschaft in der UdSSR 1941-45 (Darmstadt: Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft, 2013); (with Martin Cüppers) Nazi Palestine: The Plans for the Extermination of the Jews in Palestine (New York: Enigma Books, 2010).

 

Jürgen Matthäus, historian, director of the Applied Research Division at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
