Jean Copeland is an author and English teacher at an alternative high school in Connecticut. Her first novel, The Revelation of Beatrice Darby, won the Alice B. Readers Lavender Certificate and the 2016 GCLS Goldie Award for debut author. She’s also the author of the Rainbow Awards honorable mention The Second Wave and Summer Fling. When not writing, Jean enjoys traveling throughout Connecticut discovering its colonial history, and newest wineries and craft breweries. Feminism, organ donation, and shelter animal adoption are causes dear to her heart.
