Ingredients:
- 9 slices old bread, chopped
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 5 eggs
- Sugar or sweetener to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
Method:
- Place bread in a greased, heatproof bowl that can fit inside the instant pot.
- Whisk together rest of the ingredients except butter and pour over the bread and set aside for 15 minutes.
- Place cubes of butter all over the dish.
- Place a trivet inside the inner pot. Pour 2 cups of water in the cooking pot.
- Lower the dish into the cooker and place over the trivet.
- Close lid and select Manual option and set the timer for 25 minutes. Let steam release naturally.
- Remove the dish from the pot and set aside to cool.
- Serve warm.
