Ingredients:
- 2 cups steel cut oats
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Pecans to serve (optional)
Method:
- Set cooker on Sauté option.
- Add butter to the pot. Add oats and lightly toast it.
- Add pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, butter, water, maple syrup, salt and ground cinnamon and mix well.
- Close the lid and select Manual option and set the timer for 10 minutes.
- When done, let steam release naturally t for 10 minutes after which release remaining pressure with Quick release.
- Mix well and set-aside until warm.
- Serve with milk and some more maple syrup if you desire. Tastes great with pecans.
