Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup yellow split mung beans, soaked in water, drained
- 1 cup short grain rice, soaked in water, drained
- 2 teaspoons ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 whole green cardamom
- 1 dry red chili, broken
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Set Sauté option and ghee. When it heat, add cumin seeds, cardamom, and red chili. When it crackles, add turmeric. Sauté for 10-15 seconds.
- Add rice, mung beans. Sauté for a couple of minutes. Add salt and water
- Close lid. Set Manual option and timer for 15 minutes. When done, let the steam release naturally.
- When done, stir and serve with yogurt.
