Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups basmati rice
- 2 pounds chicken, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
- Zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons dill, chopped
- 2 tablespoons almonds, sliced to garnish
- Feta cheese, to garnish
Method:
- Select the Poultry option. Add oil and chicken and cook until light brown. Transfer onto a plate
- Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté for a couple of minutes.
- Add and rice to the pot. Stir until the rice is well coated and opaque. Add rest of the ingredients.
- Close lid. Select Rice option. Open the lid when the rice cycle is completed.
- Mix and serve.
