Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground meat
- 3 ounces penne pasta
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 jars spaghetti sauce
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 jars chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups red wine
- Mozzarella cheese to serve, grated
Method:
- Select Sauté option. Add oil. When oil is heated, add onion and garlic to instant pot and sauté until translucent. Add meat. Cook until brown.
- Add wine and scrape any brown bits that may be stuck to the pot.
- Add pasta, spaghetti sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and mushrooms.
- Close lid. Set Meat option.
- When done, quick release excess pressure. Add cheese, stir and serve.
